Indian Art Therapy Discussion Forum (IATDF)

Indian Art Therapy Discussion forum is the foundation of a group with high-cohesive members spread across India and abroad to discuss and share the ideas of promoting art therapy in India. Sangeeta Prasad and Susan Ainlay Anand, who are registered and practicing art therapists in the United States, created IATDF platform saying art therapists, expressive art therapists, artists, psychologists and other art therapy enthusiasts must get involved, in order to answer art therapy development issues in India.

Since then, much of the focus of our discussion and activities has practically been on assimilating like minded art therapy supporters, and expanding art therapy knowledge, discussion, and training in India, a major part and agenda is also to educate and safeguard the ethics of art therapy practices.

Members are proud to be in the group led by therapists who care (Sangeeta Prasad, Susan Ainlay Anand, and Girija Kaimal).

We believe in collective impact, for, accumulating small things to build a strong bond creates a heap of memories, strength, and ideas that brings value to our goals. Let us form a network, together we can be recognized, join us in our deed, we welcome one and all.
