International Seminar on Creative Arts Therapies, WCC, Chennai.


The psychology department of Women's Christian College (WCC) conducted an International Seminar on Creative Arts Therapies in Chennai on 29th and 30th January, 2019.

The inauguration was led by Prof. Paul P Appasamy, President, WCC Association, Ms. Lilian J Jasper, Principal, Dr. Padmavati R, Chief Guest, Ms. Sangeeta Prasad, Art Therapist and Keynote Speaker, and Ms. Veena Easvardoss, Head, Department of Psychology.

The seminar was very productive with the contribution of speakers like Anshuma Kshetrapal, drama and movement psychotherapist, Bhaktiveda Dhaul Taragi, expressive arts therapist, Brinda Jacob-Janvrij, movement-based expressive arts therapist, Haseena Manipal, psychodrama practitioner, Nina Cherla, clinical music therapist, Sajani V, clinical psychologist, Sowmya Srinivasan, Soul Space Storyteller and Tripura Kashyap, movement therapist. Even after days, what they shared with us is engraved in our minds.
